A real treat for you in today's blog as we have some wonderful pictures of a recent Wedding here at Maunsel House. We managed to get a few words from the photographer of the day, Sarah Cameron.

"On Monday I headed down to Maunsel House in North Petherton for Sarah and Jon’s wedding. It was my first wedding at Maunsel this year and nice to be back as it is such a lovely venue and really pretty in summer with everything in full bloom. In contrast to recent days it was dry and warm so I even came prepared with my factor 30 to hand!
Sarah and bridesmaids Liz, Sam, Emma and Becky were getting ready upstairs and I spent some time with them before heading over to church to see Jon and the boys Mark, Hamish, Nick and Garth. Sarah and Jon had chosen a fabulous Morris Minor to drive Sarah to church and to take them away afterwards and Sarah and her Dad looked fantastic arriving in such a great car!
I really enjoyed photographing Sarah and Jon as they are a lot of fun to be with and their day was full of laughter – even in church they seemed to be having a great time. After the ceremony, we drove back to Maunsel and they had drinks with their guests on the lawn. We did some family and couple shots in the grounds and it was then time for dinner. They had chosen a really pretty English country look for their flowers and tables, with soft creams and lots of gypsophila. They also had probably the most amazing white chocolate cake I have ever seen. As a food (and cake!) lover myself, I always have a good look at the cake and theirs had small white chocolate cherubs on it – how fantastic!
After the meal, the light was fading which is a really nice time of day for creative images, so I took Sarah and Jon outside for a few minutes to do some pictures under the trees and we then came back in for the dancing."
