Over the past few months Maunsel House and sister venue, Woodlands Castle has been involved in several fundraising events in aid of Macmillan Cancer support.
The first was a Clairvoyant evening with the respected and well known, local clairvoyant Glenda Bayley. The evening with Glenda on the 24th November 2012 hosted in the Pavilion at Woodlands Castle was well attended and raised £1000 for MacMillan Cancer Support.
Due to the success of this evening, we are pleased to announce that Woodlands Castle will be hosting two further evenings with Glenda on Thursday 24th January 2013 and Thursday 28th March 2013; once again raising money for MacMillan Cancer Support. The second fundraising event was the annual Macmillan Christmas fair at Maunsel House. The ever popular fair managed to raise a record amount this year, totalling more than £8500! We would like to say thank you again to everybody who attended and of course to all the business’s that came together to make this possible. A special mention must go to Sue Bridger and her team for all their hard work in organising the event.
Sir Benjamin Slade plus all the staff at Maunsel House and Woodlands Castle are very proud to be involved in any fundraising activities for this fantastic charity which does so much important work. Here’s to many more.
