Bands, birthdays and brass

What a week it's been at Maunsel House. We started the week off in style by hosting the private birthday party of Somerset entrepreneur, Andy Rogers. We were joined by some illustrious visitors including The Marquess of Bath, HRH Princess Katarina of Yugoslavia and Sally Farmiloe.

Guests enjoyed and evening of good food and entertainment with music coming from The Horn Blowers playing French Horn (For more information and bookings please contact Steve on 07770 800663) (Another brass band, Top Brass are also available for weddings; website here www.topbrassonline.co.uk). After enjoying the fantastic entertainment and beautiful surroundings, which were complemented by flowers from our in house florist Dinah, guests were moved into the house for their evening meal.

The meal which was provided by award winning caterer's, Dine with Style ( www.dinewithstyle.co.uk) included some of our beautiful local venison with a grand cake and custom lollypops from www.cakesbysamantha.co.uk for dessert.

A fantastic time was had by all especially birthday boy, Andrew Rogers who was quick to heap praise on Maunsel's fantastic staff and all involved who helped to make it such an enjoyable day.

Looking forward now to this weekend as we welcome another happy couple into Maunsel House to share their special day with us, and don't forget today is National Kissing day, so give that special person in your life a kiss now!
